Trevor Cole started his aviation career by completing the Electronics Engineering Technology Aviation Program at NBCC – Moncton. He graduated with honours and was named to the Principal’s Honour Roll in 1992. From there he went to work for Air Atlantic in Saint John’s NFLD working on Dash 8 and BAE 146 were he was tasked with line maintenance and worked in their internal Avionics Shop doing bench work. Trevor was an installer for Field Aviation installing TCAS in Dash 8 aircraft for Air Nova.
In July 1994 he joined the Atlantic Avionics team completed his apprenticeship and gained his license. He was involved in many major projects including a complete rewire of a Bell 212 helicopter and EMS retro fit in a fleet S76. He worked his way up to Production Manager then General Manager and now holds the position of Director of Maintenance (DOM)/General Manager.
